This was perhaps the funniest duo I met: Kilian and his friend Charlotte. They couldn't speak English and I don't speak Dutch. I therefore had to resort to charades in order to explain what it was I was doing in the Maalbeek station, and why I wanted to take their picture and why I was asking them about hope. In the end, we managed to understand one-another (I think!), and I found out that Kilian finds hope in music.

C'était peut-être le duo le plus drôle que j'ai rencontré: Kilian et son amie Charlotte. Ils ne pouvaient pas parler anglais et je ne parle pas le néerlandais. J'ai donc dû recourir à des charades pour expliquer ce que je faisais à la station de Maalbeek, et pourquoi je voulais prendre leur photo en leur parlant d'espoir. En fin de compte, nous avons réussi à comprendre l'un l'autre (je pense), et j'ai découvert que Kilian trouve de l'espoir dans la musique.
